Server Policies
We used to run our own IRC server on irc.brandeislarp.com, but now we've moved the channel to the MagicStar network, a gamer-oriented IRC server network. MagicStar has a set of rules that are posted here.
Channel Policies
- Community Members: Use of these channels is intended primarily for Brandeis LARP community members. We're not going to kick you off just for being a non-community member, but if you're not a community member, please keep in mind that this isn't your channel and you shouldn't monopolize it. Membership in the community is defined as the union of the following sets of people:
- students, staff, faculty, and alumni of Brandeis University
- past or current players of live action roleplaying games that ran at Brandeis
- members of groups that have run, are currently running, or are scheduled to run live action roleplaying games at Brandeis (even if those members weren't personally involved in the Brandeis run)
- members of any mailing list administered by the BSCF LARP Conspiracy
- Operators: Operators are strictly chosen by the management. Current operators are:
