Festival of the LARPs is Brandeis University's annual LARP mini-convention. It was started out of sheer laziness in 2006, when Nat Budin, who was president of the LARP Conspiracy at the time, decided it would be easier to schedule all four LARPs for the spring semester on the same weekend and just put in one space reservation instead of doing them all separately. Thus, conventions are born.

Since 2006, Festival of the LARPs has grown steadily, bringing in attendees from far and wide. In 2008, Festival surpassed the 100-attendee mark.
