BSCF LARP Conspiracy: Live Roleplaying at Brandeis University

PROJECT DIANA: 1. SYNTHESIS

by Cynthia Wakefield

You were highly trained, successful, a leader in your scientific field or well on your way to becoming one. Over the course of your life you’d picked up a variety of skills, physical and mental, and found them all coming easily to you. It seemed only natural that, shortly after you’d made a significant discovery, you would find yourself approached by a government agent to work on classified projects.

Your codenamed contact erased your previous lives and put you to work retrieving and analyzing unknown technology. Alien technology. And you were not the only ones – you fought a constant war against an enemy you barely understood, racing to find the armageddon weapon, a machine that in the wrong hands would annihilate the human race.

You failed. And yet you’re still here. It’ll only get weirder from here on out.

“Project DIANA” is a campaign LARP set in a world of alien astronauts, shadowy conspiracies, unknown powers, psionic travel, covert war and workplace romance, inspired by Torchwood, The X-Files, Philip K. Dick, Alfred Bester, X-Men, Sapphire and Steel, Ian Fleming, Richard Marcinko and H.P. Lovecraft. 18+ only.

Project: DIANA “Synthesis” ran on October 21st, 2007 in Waltham at Brandeis University.

(Due to the small size of the cast in the first episode we will be considering all applicants for the October 13th private alpha run as well. Later episodes have larger casts and/or hordes, so if you don’t get into the first episode you may still be able to get into later ones.)
